PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION

Purchasing powered access equipment is a serious investment. Whether you are based in the UK or abroad, we can offer an independent thorough examination of second hand and refurbished machines to give you full confidence and peace of mind before you commit to buying. We can also advise you on the type of aerial work platform you should be looking for based on job requirements, your budget and the technical characteristics of MEWPs. You will receive a written report on the visual, functional and mechanical condition of the machine. The report will be supplemented by photos/video recording where necessary.

MEWP PROJECT SUPPORT

We can arrange 24/7 comprehensive cover by DBS checked engineers. Depending on your requirements and working environment conditions, we can design and implement a Thorough Examination (LOLER Inspection) and Planned Preventative Maintenance scheme to maximise fault-free operation and work efficiency. A comprehensive engineering cover will include increased frequency servicing, Thorough Examination, on-site availability of a competent person capable of assisting with an emergency descent procedure, MEWP recovery and repairs. MEWP SITE SAFETY AUDIT

When a large project is underway, powered access equipment is often supplied and used by different subcontractors that simultaneously work on site. Alfa Access Services can carry out an impartial MEWP Site Safety Audit on behalf of the main contractor/Health & Safety Manager, whilst causing minimum disruption to site operations. We will give you a peace of mind that all powered access platforms are compliant with current LOLER and PUWER Regulations. The MEWPs that are deemed unsafe will be swiftly identified, red-tagged and removed from service. A full written report will follow, which will include improvement recommendations and photographic evidence. Our recommendations can help prevent accidents and prompt subcontractors and hire companies to improve their standards.
