MEWP SERVICE and MAINTENANCE
HOW OFTEN does MAINTENANCE NEED to be DONE?
It depends on the frequency of use, environmental conditions, Risk Assessment and access platform manufacturer's service recommendations. Alfa Access Services can help you establish a scheduled preventative maintenance programme taking into account all of the above and keep maintenance records in the machine’s Service file. Regular servicing increases the lifespan of your powered access equipment and prevents minor faults developing into serious problems and breakdowns.
WHAT IS INCLUDED in the SERVICE?
All our Service quotations include travel, labour, service parts and consumables, and free complementary safety checks. Regular service typically includes lubrication, oil and water top-up, change of oil, air, fuel, hydraulic filters if required. We can also carry out more complex life-cycle maintenance (complete boom and chain inspection / greasing, change of hydraulic fluid, electrical cable and hydraulic hose replacement, etc). Regular Service and Maintenance can be carried out as a stand-alone visit or tied in with a MEWP LOLER Inspection (Thorough Examination).
